A Message from the Director
The interscholastic athletic program at the Block Island School is an accepted and integral part of our curriculum which can produce many benefits. The school community seeks to ensure the continued well being of all students - physically, socially, affectively, and academically.
The Athletic Department is committed to developing and promoting good sportsmanship, team play, character development, and leadership. We stress teamwork and help students learn to accept the roles that are important to a team’s success, thereby providing them the ability to carry these roles throughout life.
